- What exactly do I get?
- One continuous roll of heavy-duty plain white plastic sheeting, about 10 feet wide, in either 100 ft or 50 ft. There is no printing, no inflatable bumpers, and no built-in sprinkler — the sheeting is the slide.
- How much space do I need for a 100 ft slip and slide?
- Plan on roughly 110 feet of length and 10 feet of width on flat, rock-free grass, plus a clear run-out area at the end. A gentle downhill slope makes the ride faster but is not required.
- Is a slip n slide safe for adults?
- Yes, the lane works for kids age 5 and up through adults. Slide feet-first or on your stomach, never head-first, keep the surface soaked, and make sure the run-out area is clear of obstacles.
- How do I get water on it?
- Use your own garden hose or an oscillating lawn sprinkler at the top of the run. Any standard residential hose bib is plenty — the water sheets down the plastic on its own. On a long run, a hose splitter lets you add water halfway down.
- How do I set the slide up?
- Clear the lawn of rocks and sticks, unroll the sheeting down the run, weigh or stake down the corners and edges, then turn the water on. About ten minutes start to finish.
- How do I store it?
- Let it dry fully, fold it lengthwise, and roll it from one end. Store it indoors out of direct sunlight so the plastic stays flexible.
- Can I patch a tear?
- Yes. Heavy-duty waterproof tape on both sides of the tear holds well for the rest of the season.
